The 2024 annual conference of Chinese Society of Nuclear Medicine of Chinese Medical Association was held in Zhengzhou, Henan province from September 12 to 15, 2024. This conference is co-sponsored by Chinese Medical Association and Chinese Society of Nuclear Medicine of Chinese Medical Association, and organized by Henan Medical Association, Nuclear Medicine Branch of Henan Medical Association and the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University.
With the theme of "Integrated Diagnosis & Treatment and Cross-Integration", the conference has set up a total of 21 sub-conferences, covering PET / CT and PET / MR, cancer nuclear medicine, nuclide therapy, radiopharmaceutical development and transformation, cardiac nuclear medicine, neuronuclear medicine, functional nuclear medicine (SPECT / CT), nuclear medicine technology, in vitro analysis and other global hot topics. More than 600 well-known experts in the field of nuclear medicine, scholars and physicians comprehensively demonstrate the overall picture of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging in China. Their presentation forms include keynote speech, keynote report, international forum, paper oral communication, wall newspaper communication and paper recruitment exchange and etc. They aim to promote the cooperation among colleagues in related fields, share the latest scientific research achievements, and expand their academic horizons.
The development of nuclear medicine can be traced back to the discovery of radionuclide more than one hundred years ago. With the development of modern science, now, China's nuclear medicine has entered the best era in history. At the same time, it is also the most challenging era. To embrace this era, we need not only the intersection of more disciplines, but also the integration of a wide range of knowledge fields, as well as the reconstruction of the industrial system and the guidance of the future development direction of the industry in this process.
