Cyclotron

Cyclotron is a device that uses the magnetic field and electric field to jointly make charged particles perform cyclotron motions, and repeatedly accelerated by a high-frequency electric field during motion.Under the action of magnetic field and alternating electric field, charged particles repeatedly make bending motions (convoluted) in the magnetic field and are repeatedly accelerated by the alternating electric field until they reach the expected particle energy, and bombard the target material in the target system through the particle beam extraction system, thereby obtaining the desired positron radionuclide.

Features of cyclotron:

 Strong function: support outgoing beam streamline; support the scale production of other positron nuclides other than 18F.

 Large capacity: ensure the daily application of nuclide in positron medicine center and the R&D of new 18F tracer.
