With the continuous increase in the number of PET/CT examination, the demand for 18F-FDG has greatly increased, giving birth to the upgrade of target capacity and 18F production by cyclotron manufacturers, increasing the target capacity to 1.4–2.0 ml, and the production of 18F can reach several or even more than ten Curies, with a single synthesis of 18F-FDG exceeding 5 Curies.
